Justin Bieber is making a highly anticipated return to the Grammy stage in 2026, a moment that many fans have eagerly awaited after a long four-year absence. The news was officially confirmed by the Grammys on January 28, just days before the event set for February 1.
But is it too late for him to reclaim his spotlight? Thankfully, the answer is no! The beloved artist, known for his hit song "Daisies," will be back, bringing excitement to the award ceremony. This year, he's not only returning to perform but has also garnered four nominations for his album "SWAG." These nominations include prestigious categories such as Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best R&B Performance.
Interestingly, Justin hasn’t attended the Grammys since 2022, which also marked the last time he performed at the ceremony, delivering a rendition of his chart-topping track "Peaches" from the album "Justice."
After a brief performance at the NHL All-Star Player Draft in Toronto in 2024, Justin has largely stayed away from the limelight. This was especially true after he had to cancel his "Justice World Tour" in 2023 due to serious health issues. He had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that notably impacted his ability to perform. In September 2022, he shared his experience on Instagram, stating, "This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be okay, but I need time to rest and get better."
His admission highlighted the toll that constant touring had taken on him. Despite having successfully performed in North America and Europe leading up to his Brazilian appearance, he candidly acknowledged the challenges he faced.
Fast forward to this year, and Justin is back stronger than ever. In July, he surprised fans by releasing his Grammy-nominated album "SWAG," followed by its sequel, "SWAG II," in September. This resurgence marks his first public performance in over a year, demonstrating not just a comeback, but a significant evolution in his artistry and presence.
In addition to Justin’s much-anticipated performance, this year's Grammy event will showcase the talents of the Best New Artist nominees, including rising stars like Olivia Dean, Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, sombr, Lola Young, and The Marías. Each of these artists is ready to leave their mark on the stage, adding to the excitement of the event.
